Does food affect mood?

It's not uncommon to think that one goes with the other.

But I do not feel good today, it was Fionnuala's birthday yesterday, so obviously us foodies went for dinner, I allowed myself some blue cheese, a side of fried onions and 2 diet cokes...

I may have ate my way through Willy Wonka's factory for how I'm feeling today, I also didn't sleep great.

I wake with two options.... bring gym gear or leave it at home.

I brought gym clothes...first battle down...

second battle... eat right.... I got this, it's pure protein day.

third battle, keep active..... no problem... just did 5k at lunch.

fourth battle... plenty of water and fluids... check..

fifth battle...finish off couch to 5k ... up till about an hour ago, I was going home, doing tan, having dinner and relaxing.. and now after picking the above battles...I'm going the gym.

no battle is unbeatable, go out there and be the best you can do.

Progress

Why is it so easy to eat bad food and sit around?

Because looking and feeling good requires effort, getting off your behind requires effort and getting to the look and the fitness level you want requires effort.

I'm 4 weeks at the Dukan now, I'm almost at my first target of 2 stone, which I'm chuffed with, but more than that I'm getting fit, yes, me Sabrina Malone, am getting fit, feeling lighter and brighter...

I want kids, but more than that,  I want to be able to run around after them and watch them grow, with no ongoing or crippling health problems or issues.

I changed how I looked at my life and my eating,  and here I am.
